My experience with steel toed boots was the boots issued to me as I entered Navy boot camp. I must says the bar was set pretty low but these are MUCH more comfortable than my boot camp footwear.

Took a bit of thought to figure out how to make the best use of them. I didn't lace up the way most folk do, because I don't like direct pressure on the top of my feet these days; but they seem to work well in this configuration, and hold securely.

Only worn for 2 days: I thought these would be generally slip resistant and it’s tricky they can be but they can also slip pretty easily it really “depends” on the surface and how you are (I’ve worn work slip resistant for the last like 7 years as a requirement)
I love the look the “feel” is nice but if you have them on a full shift on you’re feet like me they do get a little “flat” (I don’t have the insoles but I intend to buy them)
I did change to the non-tie laces on my own cause I don’t like to deal with laces and I have no complaints with those (seem to do job and work nice)
Remember: this is 2 days in one working one not —initally they fit perfect now they are a hair large but I’m still happy with sizing as smaller would be too small and I’m glad I know my eur size (outher brands use and that seems more accurate then us size)

Love the shoes. Very durable but the steel toe is more narrow than the shoe so my toes get squished and its not extreme, just enough to notice. Otherwise i am very satisfied with the shoes. My husband loves his shoes also and says he doesnt have the steel toe touching.

When I first ordered was because I need a pair of driving shoes for the summer season, my regular work shoes are for winter months in the Canadian weather. I love these shoes!! -Except- There isn't much in the way of padding inside and very little arch support. I will admit they are roomy enough, I shouldn't have an issue with crowding if I get inserts! Overall I'm very pleased with these shoes!!

Well I must say even with the delay my husband loves them and the color blue .Many compliments. I got him the green a couple years ago and he swears by this shoe not to mention the color.
